With Essen just around the corner, I wanted to spend some time putting together a list of the top ten titles I’m looking forward to out of Europe’s biggest gaming convention!
For me, there are three major gaming conventions that I would love to get to each year:
This year I managed to get to the UK Games Expo, missed out on GenCon, and will unfortunately have to miss out on Speil 2014 too because I can’t get the time off from work. GamesQuest will not be unrepresented though! Both Nigel and Paul will be heading over to Germany to enjoy everything Essen has to offer!
Despite my disappintment, I’m no less excited about some of the titles that the guys might come back with! With that in mind let’s delve into my list starting at number 10 and working our way to the game that I’m most looking forward to playing! Each entry is labelled with the designer and publisher for those who are interested in that kind of information. I’ve also thrown in a link to the BoardGameGeek listing for the game so you can head there and check out each of them in more detail.
