“This is Conan roleplaying as Robert E. Howard wrote it – savage pulp adventure battling ancient horrors in the Hyborian Age”
Conan. Every fantasy fan knows that name. It conjures images of his world, savage, barbaric, heroic but most importantly, awesome!
Now we can all be heroes in the Hyborian Age with the new Conan Roleplaying Game from Modiephius Entertainment. We’re so excited for this at GamesQuest HQ that we’ve given it our seal of approval, we’ve backed and so should you!
Robert E. Howard’s Conan Roleplaying Game – Adventures in an Age Undreamed of
Modiephius Entertainment, 2 or more players, A Sword & Sorcery 2d20 Roleplaying Game in a classic fantasy setting
The Conan Roleplaying Game looks set to redefine the meaning of epic. Having already completely smashed their funding goal, Modiphius have been powering on through their stretch goals, already meeting those to unlock the supplements for Thieves, Barbarians & Mercenaries. Personally i’d want to be a Pirate, but that’s up next and we have no doubt they’ll crash through that goal like the rest.
They’re are truly doing the Conan Roleplaying Game justice by bringing in a stellar cast of fantasy & Conan artists; Brom, Mark Schultz, Sanjulian, Liam Sharp, to name but a few. See the full list on the Kickstarter now. The artwork looks stunning, making this rolepalying game, with every single supplement also being a high quality full-colour hardback, a true display piece as well as an incredible gaming experience. To top it off it’s all under the watchful eyes of world-renowned Conan experts and scholars including Jeffrey Shanks, Patrice Louinet and Mark Finn.
For those of you fans who have seen the other Conan related Kickstarters have no fear, Modiphius is working with other Conan Properties licensing partners including Monolith Board Games, creator of the hit CONAN boardgame which has surpassed $2 million on Kickstarter, and Funcom, creator of the long-running, free-to-play, MMO Age of Conan, as well as Pulposaurus and their CROM miniatures game. Modiphius plans some select supplements including missions designed to tie in with those games, as well as floor plan tile sets allowing you to use Conan miniatures in your roleplaying adventures!
With all of this too look forward to we cannot wait until the game is printed and we can set out on our own adventures. So there’s only one thing left to say:-
